Ceramic French Butter Keeper – Glossy White Speckled Glaze

This handcrafted butter keeper is made from natural white clay and finished with a glossy glaze inside and out, gently scattered with delicate speckles.

It holds up to 180 g of butter — about 6.3 oz (roughly 1½ sticks) — enough to carry you through the week, especially if you love toast, baking, or slow, buttery mornings.

The classic French method keeps butter fresh at room temperature: simply add cool water to the base and pack the lid with butter. The water creates a natural airtight seal, preserving both flavor and texture.

Each piece is shaped and glazed by hand in my small Ukrainian studio. No two are exactly alike — and that’s part of their quiet charm.
