Soft, spreadable butter — always at hand, without refrigeration. This handcrafted butter keeper is made from natural white clay and finished with a glossy glaze inside and out. The interior is a smooth, clean white, while the exterior shines in soft beige tones, scattered with delicate speckles — like freckles kissed by sunlight.
It holds up to 200 ml (~180 g) of butter — enough to last through the week, even in a family that loves toast, baking, or buttery breakfasts. The classic French method keeps butter fresh at room temperature: simply add cool water to the base and pack the lid with butter. The water creates an airtight seal that protects the flavor and texture.
Each piece is shaped and glazed by hand in my small Ukrainian studio. No two are alike — and that’s the beauty of it.
